about

This album was born out of my desire to make music outside the typical black metal box. Many of my shoe gaze and post hardcore influences started to seep into this EP as I recorded it.

The first two singles largely sound like atmospheric black metal while the "B side" consists of a manic post hardcore influenced track and a dreamy mostly synth driven blackgaze track,

Content wise this album is fairly heavy and emotional. It deals largely with past trauma, as well as growing up in a chaotic and abusive household. to say this EP is deeply personal is putting it lightly.

Really I hope I can help someone struggling with similar issues.

Most of the record is kinda soupy haze of excessively grimy guitar sound and sickening bawls. And that's freaking awesome! Also ambient cuts fit into pretty well. The final song with female howls is a surprisingly perfect conclusion. XUN
